He was co-editor of <em>Narratives of Citizenship: Indigenous and Diasporic Peoples Unsettle the Nation-State<\/em> (2011), and has published several articles, including \u201cThe Rhetorical Function of Comedy in Michael Moore\u2019s <em>Fahrenheit 9\/11<\/em>\u201d (<em>Mosaic<\/em> 2007). Vanessa has a strong disposition toward working with the mediums of wire and concrete. She is drawn to both the strength and the fragility that these differing materials offer and the richness of possibilities they present. Her work (an assemblage of poetics, sound, theory, and visuals) has been exhibited and performed at artist-run centres, conferences, festivals, galleries, and theatres nationally. She is co-author of <em>Autoethnography and Feminist Theory at the Water\u2019s Edge: Unsettled Islands<\/em> (Palgrave Pivot 2018), and she has recent publications in <em>Transgender Sex Work and Society<\/em> (2018) and <em>Hustling Verse: An Anthology of Sex Workers\u2019 Poetry<\/em> (2019).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daze Jefferies<\/strong> est une artiste-po\u00e8te-chercheure multidisciplinaire \u00e0 Memorial University. Hon has received numerous fellowships and awards, including the Prostate Cancer Canada\/Movember Rising Star award (2013). Hon is an Associate Professor at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN, USA) in the Departments of Urology, Physiology and Biomedical Engineering. She is the author\/illustrator of\u00a0<em>Rad Art: A Journey Through Radiation Treatment<\/em>\u00a0(Atlanta, GA: American Cancer Society 2012).\u00a0\u00a0She is also the author\/illustrator of\u00a0<em>Daniel and His Starry Night Blanket<\/em>:\u00a0<em>A Story of Illness and Sibling Love<\/em>\u00a0(Thomaston, ME: Maine Authors Publishing 2015). Lynne became Full Professor at the University of Alberta, where she held multiple Oncology research chairs, and co-directed the Cancer Research Institute of Northern Alberta. Lynne has received multiple prestigious awards, is a member of the Royal Society of Canada and is now Head of the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences Program at Queen\u2019s University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Lynne-Marie Postovit<\/b>\u00a0a re\u00e7u ses dipl\u00f4mes de BCs (Science de la vie) avec honneurs et de doctorat en anatomie et biologie cellulaires de Queen\u2019s University (\u00e0 Kingston, en Ontario). After receiving her PhD (University of Berlin, 1999), Julia studied innate immunology as a postdoctoral fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for Immunobiology, Freiburg. She re-joined Oncotest, now Charles River Discovery Research Services, in 2002, holding leading positions in <em>in vivo<\/em> contract research, and research and development. Gabrielle trained at the Princess Margaret Hospital (Toronto), Robarts Research Institute and Western University (London, ON). Her research on gamma delta T cell immunotherapy for cancer includes studies in leukemia, prostate cancer, glioblastoma, breast and ovarian cancer. Gabrielle has given invited talks at scientific meetings in Canada, the United States and Germany.\u00a0She is currently a research associate at the University of Alberta.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gabrielle M. Her research focuses on intersectional analysis of medial topics and themes in a variety of texts that include breast cancer representations, graphic memoirs and comic superheroes with cancer. Publications include \u201cEnhancing Learning Cultures Through Inter-Disciplinarity: A Reading Group Pilot Project of Medicine and English Studies\u201d with Tamar Rubin for <em>Keeping Reflection Fresh: A Practical Guide for Clinical Educators<\/em>; \u201cBreast Reconstructive Surgery\u201d and \u201cBeauty Ideals, 20<sup>th<\/sup>-21<sup>st<\/sup> Century\u201d for <em>The Cultural Encyclopedia of the Breast<\/em>; and \u201cThe Waiting,\u201d a poem for <em>Intima: A Journal of Narrative Medicine.<\/em> She is currently working with Reginald Wiebe on <em>The Cancer Plot: Terminal Immortality in Marvel Comic\u2019s Moral Universe<\/em>, and with Reisa Klein on \u201cWhen the Phallus is a \u2018Dick\u2019: The Cultural\/Material Turn to Breasts\u201d for the forthcoming <em>Routledge Companion to Sexuality and Culture<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dorothy Woodman<\/strong> est enseignante contractuelle \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Alberta et \u00e0 la Concordia University d\u2019Edmonton.
